Walz’s Republican opponent in the 2022 Minnesota governor’s race thinks the former coach will be “loud and clear” on abortion.

After Texas passed its six-week ban in 2021, Vance heralded the legislation, saying, “We want women to have opportunities, we want women to have choices, but above all, we want women and young boys in the womb to have the right to life.”

Emphasis mine. That particular part of his comment is extremely telling.

I feel like the fact that this topic is being debated between two men is it’s own statement. Although I suppose the people it has to be debated to aren’t likely to listen to a woman anyway.

My entire career, I’ve trusted women to make their health care decisions,” Walz said at the time, in their only televised prime-time debate. “I don’t believe anybody who sits in this office should come between them.

I can already tell Walz is prepping for it like a football playbook. Thing is he knows most of Vance’s moves and his history, if Walz wanted to appeal to Trumpers he can always just put out the fact he was against Trump but just became a silicon valley billionaire-funded sock puppet to get the position within the MAGA party.

Receipts for what? Abortions? What’s the point?

What’s the point of any of this? Walz doesn’t have to say shit and JD Vance can talk about immigrants eating dogs.
