Summary

A drone sighting temporarily shut down runways at Stewart International Airport in New York on Friday, part of a string of drone activity since mid-November.

Gov. Kathy Hochul called for federal action, urging Congress to pass the Counter-UAS Authority Act to enhance drone oversight and empower local law enforcement.

Similar sightings in New Jersey prompted investigations by federal agencies, though many reports are suspected misidentified aircraft.

Officials stress the activity isn’t linked to foreign actors but remains irresponsible. Temporary flight restrictions were imposed near sensitive sites, including military bases.

Idiots like this ruining my hobby.

Soon there will be a nationwide drone ban… 🤦‍♂️

Go to a fucking park (edit: check for any restrictions first, national parks might require permission) or something, why these idiots gotta fly in an airport or military bases?

This is why we can’t have nice things…

Who says it isn’t some government employee doing it to justify a national ban? Police do this all the time during protests so that they can come in and shoot people in the face with rubber bullets and tear gas canisters for exercising their rights.

      A national ban, you say.

Almost like that would benefit certain jet flying billionaires in times where they likely fear drones being used against them, and a government that will inevitability be using them to monitor and control the populace.

I have no clue what these are, and idk if you are from the area, but these have been everywhere and all over multiple states for weeks now. I hear they are the size of cars, and idk much about the hobby but is that a normal size for hobbyist? Considering how many there are every night I just feel like there is no way this is some idiot messing with this and is something else, but until they track one down or finally decide to take one down to find out more I have no clue what’s going on.

I wouldn’t be surprised if this is some local drone hobbyist meetup.

But if its actually “size of cars” then it has to be a private military contractor testing new tech. As to why in a populated area: maybe they want to test the ability to detect human beings, you know, that’s quite useful on a battlefield. Telling people “it’s fine, its just a military contractor testing new drones for war” would probably get people to protest, as most people don’t like their tax dollars spend on new killing machines, so the government is just not saying anything about it.

I’ve been diving into this for a bit. I fly myself I have a home built dead at and a DJI.

There appear to be multiple things at play here.

First, I’d like to point out this happened in New Jersey last year from November until December 23rd. If you search news articles you can find it.

Next, people are taking videos of helicopters and fixed wing jet liners in the distance and freaking out. I strongly suspect this is most of the distant out-of-state stuff.

Next, pretty much everything in videos is running with their navigation lights on. Whoever’s doing it either wants to be seen or doesn’t want to disobey FAA rules. (Not aliens, not Iran, not China)

Next, a woman took a picture over Jersey City a few days ago where the clouds were all red green blue in a massive way. This was most certainly a hired swarm.

Next, and most of the videos were you’re seeing small quadcopter style craft, They all have that hazy yellowish look to them. I’m betting their part of the RGB swarm.

Next, people are flip-flopping in the reports between the drones being the size of a car and the drones being the size of a regular recreational drone, well it’s harder to see the size of things in the dark, porque no los dos.

Next, in one of the videos the drone went overhead and there was a clear turbine wine.

Next, there have been sightings over secure installations and over Trump’s own golf course. If it’s not us doing it it would be a much bigger deal.

Next they’re telling us that there’s no harm or ill intent. That’s not a lip service kind of thing, If they didn’t know they’d be shooting them out of the sky. They know what they are.

My primary suspicion is that the government/a musk related corporation is testing a new vertical takeoff autonomous vehicle. Maybe they’re running tests before the inauguration in case there’s insurgency, maybe they’re just doing it because they’re excited to play with new contracts and new toys. I think someone is hiring a pyrotechnic company to spread out a drone swarm to run interference. They’re not technically doing it in areas where they’re going to get in trouble or where it’s against FAA rules but they’re close enough to cause panic. And FAA reactions

My secondary suspicion would be that they’re going to use this to put us into martial law in January.

I live just outside a no-fly zone around an airport. Maybe a mile away, slightly under.

I never take my drone above the trees unless I’m away from home because I’m paranoid about anything going wrong and my drone just taking off in one direction until it dies or hits something.

I’d rather be extra cautious and be lightly mocked than cause the airport to shut down and have the alphabet boys knocking on/down my door.

Especially since I live close enough to a military base that my drone could theoretically reach it in a flyaway, if winds are helping it along.

Note: I have been lucky enough that in four years, I have never lost contact with my drone, but the paranoia remains.

“Drones” they call them. These are straight up UFOs and are being seen all over the world now. The feds claim they don’t know whose craft they are and they can’t catch them or track them down even with infrared cameras.

UFOs with proper FAA regulation lighting.

There’s video of a rather large UAV that crashed in the middle of New Jersey at night in the median strip of a highway.

If we find anything out I think we’re going to find that it’s a military vehicle and somebody hired a swarm out to spread FUD so nobody would see what they were actually doing.

Also, I have yet to see any reasonable credible footage outside of Jersey City. There’s people posting pictures of helicopters doing night landings and airliners. I followed up on a lead last night where someone said look at this beach cam, I pulled up ADSB exchange and could easily see registered air traffic for every light in the area.

Eh. Let’s just call it vigilantes pushing back against the man and his airplane luxuries. If you can afford to fly in a plane, you are part of the problem.

            Never said that.

Assuming they weren’t actually attaching Nazi rhetoric but we’re stumbling on it:

Suggesting a “solution” with a wink,… Is to kill a group of people is not something “we” should encourage is no good.

Phrasing matters. Give the media popularized Nazi rhetoric and you’re losing credibility.

If they were “joking” about the “final solution”, fuck em

I feel removing the air from the ruling class is actually the only solution, that is what I mean and have meant for quite some time.

There is absolutely nothing wrong removing the people who intend to do you harm. It is basic self defense. We are coming to a peak where people will choose to fight it or allow it. And this is ‘Merica… we fight our enemy. The enemy is within the walls. This is a problem the left and right share. We should unite and fight.
