[Speaking as a mod] OP, you posted this to seven different communities. I get that you’re excited, and I’m not going to remove this post as it’s on-topic, but chill, OK? It’s bordering spam already, and users are getting annoyed.

[Speaking as a user] I’ve been watching r/place, but frankly I don’t see a point on intervening. Even if you’re somehow able to promote Lemmy in it, how much do you bet that the admins will mess with it? A quick splotch of “magic admin pixels” and it’s gone. Plus you’re still engaging with the platform and giving it pre-IPO numbers.

I feel like effort is better directed towards Lemmy itself.

Why not put effort into populating your new community with quality content, instead of wasting your time pissing into the wind on that old platform?

OP, please don’t spam the same post over and over on this site. I don’t think several of the communities that you posted this on are even relevant. Please be more considerate

Can’t log in to the coordination chat.

Also, I agree with the Reddit hate, but r/place is one of the coolest examples of divergent groups of humans banding together to do a thing that exists. Plus the drama is entertaining af.
