Prior to that, there is a nice correlation between activity and user growth. More users - more activity in posts and comments. That’s no longer the case over the last couple of days. 🤔

My guess is that those users are reddit refugees, and they are trying to figure out the platform before posting.

I would even hazard a guess that the closer we get to June 30th this trend will continue, then July 1st boom lol

I wouldn’t be concerned by that, I think there is an influx recently of the type of users that may come to check it out and not engage much right away. Maybe I’m wrong. But either way I’m not really concerned by this. Loving this new space

I’ve seen various early joiners say that have been more active on lemmy than they have ever been on reddit because they want to help boost te platform. More people more activity. Maybe some users are reverting to their lurking state 😜.

Oooh I’m sure the lurkers will come… I been here 4 days and I took 2 days before I commented and then another day to post, done 2 posts so far… And I’m by no means a hardcore lurker hahahaha
