  • And that’s just what they’re willing to admit publicly a.k.a. the tip of the iceberg.

State internet regulator Roskomnadzor alleged in a statement that the service is being “used to organize and conduct terrorist activities on the territory of the country, to recruit perpetrators (and) commit fraud and other crimes against our citizens.” Apple did not respond to an emailed request for comment.

Lol, what could you possibly reply to that? “It’s bullshit.” OTOH, in the current political climate in the USA, they’re probably wise to just not say anything.

Well, that sort of podcast won’t survive for long in my podcatcher app.

But the “2 guys” format is very common, and to stay with the theme of the cartoon:

Often one of the duo is clearly the main guy while the other interjects something that tries to be humorous but falls flat, or contributes so little that they’re just a sounding board for #1.

In some podcasts this is so bad that I constantly carry a little vicarious embarassment for #2 while listening.

A little scripting helps, or an agreement that e.g. #1 talks (freely) and #2 reads (articles or quotes etc.).
