Mars bars are sold in the US under the name Milky Way. Not to be confused with what’s globally known as Milky Way, which is called 3 Musketeers in the US.

It tickled my nostalgia enormously when I tried it, but it takes tens of minutes to initially index the amount of files that Auxio handles in tens of seconds on every start and then any time the app starts from a state of not being in memory, it still pisses away a minute of my time starting up doing ???
I’d love to use it for real, but it’s not practical. The click wheel emulation is adequate, surprisingly.

Yeah I used to just go on f-droid and scroll for a few hours to see what was out there and what would catch my eye. Sometimes you don’t know what you’re looking for until you see it. Wouldn’t dream of going on the play store and just browse by category, but on f-droid it’s doable.
Just mainly wanted to give a shout out to Cards With Cats, because it’s so well made and cute and challenging and somehow never ends up on people’s favorites lists.

Gurgle (wordle clone) and Gridle, word games. Cards With Cats is very good if you like to play Hearts. Ball2box, it’s all in the name. Super Retro Mega Wars has some serviceable classics like asteroids and Tetris. SuperTuxKart is alright. Simple Solitaire Collection isn’t maintained anymore, but hasn’t been surpassed yet on f droid imo. Getting good mileage out of Lemuroid of course, the console emulator for people who don’t like configuring things.
Maybe it’s like Tracey ends up with 4 chocolate bars and ¢25
Yeah those are called Snickers Almond in the US now. Either way, whether they want a UK Mars bar like in the article or they want a pre-2003 US Mars bar, you can just buy the same thing with a different name in the US.
