Because men cannot give birth, they engage in other types of high-risk activities, such as riding a motorcycle.
Seriously though, what’s a procreative management?

Um, not sure how things are on Lemmy, but I am not a robot and never meant to offend other people here. I’m only speaking from my own brief experience.
That guy was a sweetheart in other ways, but he was completely ignorant of the risks choking could impose. For him, consent on intimacy meant also consent on choking, since he considered it a part of it.
And yes, this was a major reason why this relationships lasted for a very short time. We spoke about it and I hope he understood the point. It was over a decade ago, and I always thought that the guy lacked education / understanding, not conscience.
Also, “on TV” obviously meant porn. I quoted the man.

I briefly dated a man who often choked me, despite me explicitly asking him not to every time. He thought it’s harmless and said he saw it “on TV”. He never asked permission either. For me, it was uncomfortable and scary. I approve of the ban. It’s scary how chocking is normalized when it’s potentially very dangerous for a partner.
I didn’t try to do the purchase, but very nice to know the company blocked the purchase! I was also very happy with the product too. What a difference from the likes of Adobe.
I almost bought publisher last week, and postponed till Black Friday. Just wow!!!

I live in Germany for over 6 years, and come from Russia. I don’t appreciate generalisation, but some things he mentioned just ring the bell. Some Germans I met definitely fit the description, but not the others.
I don’t think art here is complacent, but I also see how artists from outside of Germany (and generally, foreigners), often tune down their criticism towards Germany.
At work, my German colleagues are very sensitive if a foreigner criticizes late trains or long bureaucratic procedures. There’s a notion we should be grateful, and if we don’t like something, we should go back to places we like…
Germans themselves seem to be critical of their society though, so I wonder how it works from the inside.
Perhaps Ai Weiwei’s point is a perspective of an outsider who’s expected to express gratefulness and complacency.
This album, along with Sam’s town, are the favorites of my teenage years.

What could that be, I wonder?.. Ah, I know, might be all those working and studying women that abandon their sacred duty to repopulate the Motherland. Definitely not the trenches in foreign countries where the men are dying…
Edit: typos.
Loved this one! Never heard it before.

Yes! The good thing, it’s repayable! My number one game ever.

To the moon! The game was so emotional.

Then end of the line is got him to be charged and put on trial. Was he ever charged?
It’ll still have plenty. It still trades outside of the West, it still has enough manpower. Russia would probably solidify it’s decline for decades, but it still have enough resources to squeeze for the rest of Putin’s lifetime. And, you don’t need to be a superpower to cause a lot of harm, if the intention is there.

So there is nothing better for them to do? No bigger problems? Seriously.

How dreadful! For many trans people it’ll endanger their lives.
It all reminds me of what was happening in Russia over the decades, just smashed into an impossible timeline. Small steps lead to irrevocable disasters.

I believe the results mainly reflect the anti-immigration sentiment.
I’m a naturalized immigrant in Germany myself and don’t understand the trend at all. I imagine that supporting certain immigration groups might stretch the social support system in the country, but it’s the faulty of the system itself, no? I get the vibe that it’s the immigrants who are the problem, and that we are somehow worse humans than the natives and set our minds on causing problems just for the fuck of it.
Can someone explain why immigration is a problem for Europe? It seem to be the good old xenophobia… Or maybe I’m biased.

Exactly! So many people fall in this Russian trap, not even understanding that it’s only goal is division and destabilization.

What’s mysterious about it? As it’s said in Russian, it’s a fight between a toad and a snake.
Because Russia pays for spreading it.
