Pretty much the same here. the storage to quality ratio isn’t a big enough difference to make it worth it to me for anything over 1080. 720p is noticable but I’ll still use it no problem.

Look into transmission open VPN docker container. Forces/ensures VPN connection. Easy to setup and configure.

As long as I’m not locked into using their OS on their hardware I’ll still be interested. I have a 3,4&5 doing various tasks around my house and enjoy the little boards.

I am a big fan of mullvad VPN as they take no info from you to create an account. Can pay with crypto. No name, email or anything tied to their service. Used proton, nord and pia in the past.
Washington Post is the only newspaper app I have, mainly because I have a free subscription. I have really enjoyed it thusfar and use it as my usual source for news. It’s “War In Ukraine” was a great section till they really toned down the coverage of it. This is really concerning and this was a great story by sfgate. I am about to be much more skeptical of what I am seeing by them.
NPRs “up first” podcast today had an entire section about this today.
Do we think they are going to charge for this once out of beta? Even though they have done great work on making it anonymous, I don’t see anything about them not using the input/output as data to “better” their service. So perhaps it would remain free?
