If it happened that quickly, it was always going to happen.

Appalling.
We can’t have a little thing like disclosing massively increasing risk of hurricanes, flooding or forest fires getting in the way of a real estate commission can we? /s

Until you can order a happy ending, I think Japan’s soaplands are safe.

You want Hulk fungi?
Because this is how you get Hulk fungi.
It’s even approximately that shade of green.

Good for them!
Maybe some locally owned grocers do, but here in SF, both big chain markets and most small grocers sell the thick “reusable” actually-not-reused plastic bags.
That truck tipping over could wipe out every lifeform on the planet with nut allergies.
The sheer mass of Skippy would become a fully functional ecological system of its own before cleanup was finished.

I get the dad being an alien, “the truth is out there”, and him being wholesome, but where does dad also being Dracula factor into the joke?

Obtaining the Ozeki rank in professional sumo is a huge accomplishment, and comes with additional privileges as well as responsibilities as a representative of the sport.

I live in San Francisco, where Waymos are ubiquitous, and I have to say that they’re actually good drivers.
I’ve seen them make difficult turns, merge lanes in heavy traffic, and wait patiently while some car ahead of them puts on their emergency lights, and the driver runs inside to get their takeout, but the Waymo can’t go around them due to traffic in the left lane.

Actual maps here on the DMV announcement page: https://www.dmv.ca.gov/portal/vehicle-industry-services/autonomous-vehicles/autonomous-vehicle-testing-permit-holders/waymo-approved-areas-of-operation-for-driverless-testing-and-deployment/
It’s a large expansion.
In the Bay Area, the area of operation is extended all the way to Sacramento, and well into Sonoma County.
In SoCal, it’s the whole coastal corridor between LA and San Diego.
What I believe is going on:
First clue is the title: “Trendlocity”, which is a mashup of Trend and Velocity which likely hints that this has something to do with the speed at which trends emerge.
Second clue is the first word of dialogue, which refers to mood rings which were a fad from the 1970s.
3rd clue is the character in the red vest’s hat changes in each frame that he’s in:
I’m not super familiar with when any of these may have been entered popular imagination, but this may reflect the trendiness of these various hat styles.
4th clue: The character or cosplay in the center frame with the wide oval face, large eyes, and fur surrounding the face resembles a Labubu, which was this year’s fad toy.
5th clue: The “Raymon” hint that the red vest character has on a sign, reminds the foreground character of what the center oval face character is a reference to.
The name “Raymon” resembles the typical name format for a monster in a Japanese monster raising game, such as Pokemon and Digimon.
Persons above a certain age who didn’t play the games, or persons who played earlier versions of the games may not be familiar with some of the monsters in the games.
The foreground character in the center frame is unable to name the character or cosplay reference.
In the last frame, the foreground character sees red vest’s hint, and is able to name the character, or character reference in the oval face character’s cosplay, giving him relief over the anxiety of not being able to name the character or reference.
This awkward situation that the foreground character finds themselves resembles meeting someone they have met before, and not being able to remember their name, but with the transposition of obscure references to videogames and fads on the situation.
Ergo humor has been wrought.

Liverpool matches are art? Not lately…
No, but sometimes I feel like I’m talking to thin air.

A Charlie Kirk feature is expected soon to provide access to the 13th disciple.

That’s obviously because the Uighurs aren’t working hard enough for Glorious Leader Xi’s glory.
More re-education camps will motivate them even more!
Ugh. I haven’t used it for over 10 years, and I’m still disappointed that it’s been enshittified.
I use dry beans all the time, and never refrigerated dry beans.
They’ve gone hard on me after they’ve been kept in storage for a long time, but it just takes longer to boil them tender.
Beans and other legumes are up to $1.29/lb here.
Chickpeas, split peas, any kind of legumes are great!

For soups and chilis, big batches and freezers is the only way to go.
That was social media dying in front of our eyes.
