It’s rule #1 on their rules page (bottom of page): https://lemmy.world/legal

I wouldn’t expect to be able to use a general purpose server for sketchy content. Who would want that liability?

      lemmy.world rule 1:

No illegal content, including sharing copyrighted material

      c/[email protected] rule 3:

Don’t request or link to specific pirated titles

So c/[email protected] doesn’t even break that rule. It’s for discussion. Unless you take a very broad reading of not allowing the sharing of resources that could be used to pirate copyrighted material, but that’s not an issue anywhere else

Even reddit hasn’t banned their piracy subreddit. How much effort does it take to be worse than spez?

Reddit has banned many piracy subreddits in the past which shared copyrighted material. r/soccerstreams being a huge one.

Reddit piracy sub is rather neutered and every piracy related sub is quite explicit in having no links to pirated content, torrents included. Dbzer0 instance is very free for all.
