Intended to tell the USA that South Korea is on the menu if they get involved in Ukraine I’d wager.

That said … I can’t imagine either NK or Russia wants to be at the find out stage of that statement.

If you ask a russian there is a good chance they will tell you Russia is “defending” one thing or another in Ukraine.
Or that russia is in fact defending itself from an attack from “the west” atm.
It’s all bullshit, but propaganda will do its thing.

Nothing (russian) stopping NK from trying to “defend” some shit in SK as well.
Off course they will then find out that Putins word is not worth the dickhole it came out of, but that’s another story.

This is good for the dprk, the US still runs massive mock invasions to force them to spend massively on their military, this plus the nukes makes them a lot less precarious, especially with dedollarization too.

This is the best summary I could come up with:

President Vladimir Putin and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un signed the comprehensive strategic partnership treaty after their summit in Pyongyang on Wednesday.

Putin called the new treaty, which would replace the previous ones, “a truly groundbreaking document that reflects the desire of the two countries not to rest on their laurels, but to bring our relations to a new qualitative level.”

After hugs and a brief chat, the two rode in a Russian-made Aurus sedan together to the Kumsusan State Guesthouse along the capital’s streets, which flew Russian national flags and welcoming banners.

He further promised “full support and solidarity with the Russian government, army and people in carrying out the special military operation in Ukraine to protect the sovereignty, security interests and territorial integrity,” according to Sputnik.

Putin thanked Kim for North Korea’s support for the war and stressed the two countries’ historical comradeship spanning from the early 20th century to their current opposition to “the hegemony policy, the imperialist politics of the United States and its satellites,” Tass reported.

In the press conference later, Putin criticized the U.S.’ “confrontational policy” in the region and defended North Korea against “all the attempts to place the blame for destabilization of the international situation” on his host.

The original article contains 687 words, the summary contains 207 words. Saved 70%. I’m a bot and I’m open source!

No one is going to attack North Korea and despite promising to do so every minute of every day for the last few decades North Korea isn’t going to attack anyone. Russia on the other hand is a typical warmongering western imperial power squabbling with the other warmongering western imperial powers like always, so they will be having wars to spare for as long as there is a Russian Federation. I guess NK trading a few million extra mouths to feed for whatever Russia can spare economically could benefit the leadership of both countries.

Not Western Europe. Europe as a whole and its colonial projects around the globe which murdered their way to being majority “White.” The West.
