    I’m troubled by an explicitly antidemocratic speaker of the house, but at this point now that Republicans have embraced fascism rather than adopting popular platforms I can’t say I’m surprised.

      idk, like, I get where you’re coming from, but they’re all antidemocratic at this point. It’s marginally worse than McCarthy, but only marginally, y’know?
