    Dems see the real threat as primaries for sure, and they just don’t have the infrastructure to control the nominations at the local level or even with state reps in redder states like they did with the 2016 or 2020 presidential primaries.

    I dunno. They had the infrastructure to make sure Henry Cuellar beat Jessica Cisneros.

      I should’ve specified, by state rep I meant in the state’s house of representatives, those can often have democrats that are more radical like the Tennessee Three (Go Gloria), and the NY State House DSA members.

      They’re much more able to target progressives/socialists in the federal house, especially if they haven’t built up as much support from residents of the state before going federal like Gloria Johnson (or hopefully soon the other two members of the TN 3).
