Well they tried snapping their fingers - no luck there. Then they tried the magic words but - still nothing. Then one guy just stood up in the House chamber and said “I declare $15 per hour minimum wage!” which seemed pretty good but when they went to check if it had worked - nope.
The democrats are neither as hapless nor as unlucky as you portray them to be. They are paid very well to vote the way they do. I guess you’ll just keep giving them cover so they’ll never need to change.
