Through the budget that was signed into law last month, Ohio has become the first state to require K-12 public schools to adopt policies on artificial intelligence.

    This is about policies surrounding appropriate use of AI, not mandates injecting it into curricula. This is actually good news for once.

    Policies aren’t necessarily bad and are absolutely needed surrounding AI. Of course it’s Ohio so the policy will probably be “Use it or else” because the elite class is trying to speedrun a water crisis, but still.
