Just wanna say that plantuml exists. Despite its name it can be used for more than just UML. I know nothing about D2 though (yet) so can’t tell how they compare.
I love d2, I’ve been using it for years
LLMs are pretty good at it too, so I can generate visualisations from IAC in 2 minutes. And if I wanna make small changes it’s easily editable
