For anyone using MPV (assuming you do not have any other dynamic range compression already)
add this line to input.conf
Ctrl+= af toggle "lavfi=[loudnorm=i=-22:lra=4]" ; show-text "${af}"

This bind Ctrl+= to toggle loudnorm filter

You can set it as aggressive as you like
