My wife came with me recently for my mother’s funeral. My wife is not a US citizen or resident or anything. I was worried, but it went fine.
I wouldn’t recommend visiting if you can avoid it, but sometimes people have very strong motivations and have to take the risk of being brutalized by this fascist country. 😞
