I don’t recall ever seeing someone wearing a burka in my western country. I’ve seen some niqabs, hijabs. I don’t get bothered by seeing them. I know there are certain jobs where seeing the face is important, like verifying identity of someone with a passport or something.
I would honestly argue that seeing someone’s face is important in all jobs unless working from home. Burkas are designed and intended for people who are supposed to be homemakers. A relic of the past in my opinion.
