How many times does a Republican have to win before you realize socialism isn’t popular enough yet to succeed as a third party?

My point is, look for alternatives instead of voting for something you don’t want. That’s the idea of democracy.

That’s just dumb. Vote against the worst probable outcome. The idea of democracy is consensus. If your alternative doesn’t reach consensus, it’s just a spoiler against the less bad option. If we had ranked choice voting it would be a different story, but we don’t, so it isn’t.

How many times does a Republican have to win before you get it? Vote strategically, and find your alternatives outside the election. Protest voting is impotent posturing that risks the worst outcome with literally no material benefit.

What else is new? The leftists of the US have no influence on foreign policy. Throwing their vote away on an “alternative” which will, at most, get single percent results doesn’t make the US leave the rest of the world alone. In fact, it draws votes away from the slightly less terrible party, which makes it a net loss. If you want the US to leave the rest of the world alone, the last thing you want is for leftists to vote third party.

BERNIE LOST THE POPULAR VOTE IN THE PRIMARIES BOTH TIMES.

The popular vote is ACTUAL VOTERS. That means ACTUAL VOTERS didn’t like him enough for him to win the primaries.

Christ. It’s 2026. Let the Bernie thing go. I liked him too. I still like him. Doesn’t mean he’s popular with America as a whole.

Now take what I just said and apply it to socialism.

It ain’t gonna fly in America yet. Not gonna happen.
