She was living and working in Oakland on a work permit, with a pending asylum case. Recently, while trying to return home to Oakland, she was detained by ICE at the Denver airport. In a shocking turn of events, she was taken from the jetway and hustled into an unmarked van on the tarmac.

    Abduction by ICE are legal per congress and the courts so far. We know it shouldn’t be which is a different argument.

      I get that corrupt systems are okaying some of this, but the fact that she was legally here and still taken seems to be in conflict. Unless part of it being legal is that mistakes can happen with no consequence, definitely happening.
