His cult does not care. They feel they are the only rightful inheritors of the USA. They want to punish everyone who has ever even slightly inconvenienced them or their sensibilities. They are angry at all the poor life choices they made and need someone to offload that guilt. Almost every GOP slob I have met is so angry about things that only have the thinnest of understanding. Usually, just repeating things that some guy on TV has screamed at them for weeks and weeks. They don’t even recognize the other 2/3rds of citizens as real Americans. Trump has supporters who think he is the Antichrist and want him in power because their book of lies says that that happens before the rapture. Even if their mythology was based on reality, I don’t get how they don’t expect some beaurocrat at heaven admissions to be like, “Hold up, it says here that you supported the Antichrist and wanted the rapture to happen partially because you thought it would punish those that opposed it? That that was your specific idea of paradise?”
