    Unfortunately we just don’t do that. In Europe they call them consumer protections. Here we call them “regulations” and complain endlessly about how they hurt business

      Uh, no. There’s some small minority of companies that complain that regulations hurt businesses.

      But the vast majority of people want regulations.

        Your father didn’t spend much time screaming at Fox News growing up, I take it. Lol.

        That’s like saying there is a “small minority” of Americans who were willing to vote for a known rapist, pedophile, and convicted felon. It’s a big enough group.
