Trump has done so much bad shit, each more unbelievable and outrageous than the last. Journalism has failed us because half of the country doesn’t watch the news to be informed — they watch it for permission and validation.
I’m glad it’s reported, and I’m kinda glad to know the scope of Trump’s banal evil to the degree we do, but this will change nothing. Half the country hears cops covered up a murder and imagines Punisher taking out the baddies who hide behind corruption and legal technicalities — oh the fucking irony!
Also, MAGA is just all in on Trump. They have followed him so far that they need Fox to give them reasons not to examine their own choices. Fuck them. At least based on the average age of Fox viewership, most is them are already on death’s door. The end of that generation can’t come soon enough.
