Not bothering to read this, but that picture in the thumbnail really encapsulates the performative nature of politics. Giant porch, elstylish furniture, huge expanse of well-manicured lawn backed by a hedge…and a John Deere tractor parked on that lawn. Just regular people!

My bad! I simply couldn’t tell in the thumbnail, but you easily can in the full-sized picture. That’s a little more honest, at least. But you can bet that tractor only goes on that lawn for photo shoots.

That JD 4440 was last made in 82. U can bet ur ass it’s a decoration lmfao. Not that old tractors aren’t still useful, but if u rely on a tractor that old u likely have a smaller farm and are piss poor. That or ur running one of those stupid ass “hobby farms” the rich folk that buy property up here like to do.

She’s just trying to make it one more season before replacing it. Was gonna upgrade this year but costs were up and the weather poor so just one more year now and she’ll get that nice new combine she needs. That’s what this picture tells me. She must really understand my struggle.

As far as I’m aware Amy lives close to the city in a Columbus suburb, so yeah the whole thing is probably a film set
