The word they meant to use is “carelessly”. We would also have accepted “inattentively”.

My org has a policy of requesting us to use copilot as much as we can. Its also almost completely useless at my job, but its really good if i just write my functions and queries super sloppy and just get it to organize the text.

Burning down an acre of rainforest and charging the company so i don’t have to press enter.

If they went 860% over budget and spent 1.8 million dollars, they still intended to spend almost $190,000 on slop output from the plagiarism robot.

“Menial tasks should be performed using Amazon’s own LLM call Nova. Did you know we had an LLM? No? Well we just fired the whole Nova team anyway.” - Amazon executives probably

Why is AWS using Claude when they have their own AI solutions.

I would hope that this would give the few sane people left at Amazon a bit of ammo to reduce reliance on AI, but this is Amazon we’re talking about.

Nah I want them to go all in. Seems like the world where that happens is the one where Amazon is most likely to collapse or at least emerge in a diminished state, which would be great. Fuck Amazon.
