    No, going from manslaughter to murderer requires intent.

    If someone starts a bar fight and lands a hook in the right spot that kills someone, that’s manslaughter unless the prosecution thinks they can convince a jury that the goal was to kill someone.

    I contend that any business that has an employee death that was due to the prioritization of profit over safety is an intentional action and the manslaughter is voluntary.
