minus-squareMadzielle@lemmy.dbzer0.comcakelinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·5 days agoI could probaby find install instructions, and do this. However, It’s was my husband’s purchase, and he doesnt want me to fuck with it. I recently gave an honest go at intalling linux on an old chrombook, that project sits unfinished, so, I get it lol. It can usually go awhile without updating before it pushes it through, I am hoping, hoping, they patch the issue before then I guess.
minus-squareDdCno1@beehaw.orglinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·5 days agoPerfectly understandable. Putting Linux on any kind of OEM device can be a bit of a hassle. I’ve had the best experience with PCs I built myself, not things with custom components, weird drivers and locked down nonsense.
