I originally thought that the title expressed “Meta created ads that contained AI-generated Child Sexual Abuse Imagery, and then ran them”. However, it seems that the article actually expresses “One or more people who are probably not employees of Meta made ads that contained AI-generated Child Sexual Abuse Imagery in order to promote so-called nudify or undressing apps, and then Meta ran them”.
Oh, well that’s okay then.
False alarm guys! The billion dollar social media network didn’t make CSAM, they just reviewed, hosted, and pushed it to users uncritically! Nothing to see here!
