The SoC appears to be a 7% CPU/GPU perf bump according to Qualcomm. No info on North American compatibility yet.

    What they did with the wireless earbuds is amazing. User replaceable batteries on an earbud is something I hadn’t seen before. And definitely kudos to them for doing that.

    But skipping on the audio jack, which could have saved so much e waste too, was such a bad take.

    They did the earbuds because they can charge you 100€ for them, and then you’re essentially locked to their battery subscription for when the batteries eventually fail every year. It was just a coincidence that they had just removed the audio jack before releasing them.

      And even if you have usb c headphones now you have to replace the usb hub every year from wear and tear, and they get huge profit margin from it as it’s an Usb2.0
