This was the second attempt. At first I encountered a bit of an unexpected challenge, which I could have predicted if I’d thought about it. I took my cold camera out of my nice air conditioned house into the misty dawn and… Yes, my lens fogged up.

This is obviously a focus stack. It’s pretty clean, but I think Helicon binned it slightly just here:

Additional bonus whiffling:
For the final product I only used seven or maybe eight of the exposures in the middle of the range out of 100. But if you smash all of them into the stack you can get a surreal nonsense mess that looks like an AI hallucination even though it isn’t. honestly i love the fogged up version. i occasionally like to shoot with a black mist filter and less saturation though, so maybe im more biased towards bloom-heavy shots
