Entry level ID.4 goes for 35k€. It’s not a cheap transport. There are BEV for less but then you are limited by range for only your day to day stuff. Modern ICE is not great either, very complex so its basically a ticking time bomb for maintenance. Ahh

That’s the car I have, and my point was that even that, being a luxury car in comparison, is way cheaper to drive.
There are options that cost almost half, and have pretty close to the same range.
