i had it at 20, after severe stress from semester of college. eventhough it was a small rash, it seem to be more intense than normal, some people have more widespread rash than mines but they dint have lasting damage(i 10 blister scars). i remember it gave me neck and lower back pain making it stiff asf. and the blisters became scars, and permanent nerve damage near the scars. and yes i had mild PHN for a couple years, and permanent nerve damage as well. apparently you can get pain in a numbed area too, which has its own term.

apparently i remember i had the chickenpox, also records showed i got the Chickenpox vaccine in the late 90s too.

shingles is more severe the older you are, or if you are immunocompromised(they usually get a more unusual rash)
