About 3 weeks ago (well past the original reservation period) I decided I might as well put myself on the reservation list for the steam machine (512Gb + controller) and yesterday, I already received my notification that I am able to purchase the damn thing. I expected to wait way longer, at least until next year.
Are turnarounds this short to be expected?
Argh! And yet we who only want the damn controller have been waiting since spring!? An the effing estimate is still 2027!
These controllers are damn near unobtainium.

Not who you were originally asking but I’m in the same boat and I reserved mine the day they opened for reservations. My estimate is 2027.
Thanks for the reply, then it’s definitely region based. I placed my reservation one day after they opened and received mine a week ago, and my orgiinal estimate was December 2026. Hope you all get yours sooner than the estimate.
