I’m really excited about the potential of this partnership, but have been burned before by device manufacturers partnering with ROM developers only to realize they can’t enshittify the ROMs like their base OS and abandoning the deal.

This is a step forward for GOS and a chance for Motorola to stand out as a potential champion for user privacy, but only time will tell if they can actually maintain that stance.

I want to support this partnership but I really need more proof that this isn’t just Motorola desperately grasping at straws to stay relevant.
