    Back in 1960, minimum wage was $1.00/hour and the average US home was $11,000.00.

    Read Hunter Thompson’s book “Hell’s Angels.” There’s a chapter where he explains the economics of being a biker/hippie/artist circa 1970. A biker could work six months as a Union stevedore and earn enough to spend the next two years riding. A part time waitress could earn enough to rent a place for herself and a boyfriend.

    Just another thing Reagan took from us.

    Parents? fed up with your children living with you? stop voting for people who fuck your life up. maybe your kids can grow up with a future, where they can actually afford to have a good life.

    like you did.

    before you then consistently voted in people who tax you more and take away any benefits.
