It’s just so foreign to me to feel that way, it’s really difficult to fathom how some people arrive to that path. I’m sure it stems from fear but yikes.
From my personal observations, it’s kind of like how during the Holocaust the Nazis recruited the Kapos. Some people would gladly join their persecutors if it meant they would have power over their peers and the chance of lesser punishment towards themselves.
