    Aw no I didn’t expect sad kitty stories. Hope he doesn’t have to go back! Here’s mine pretending she’s not scared of the box

      He’ll have to go back in a few weeks to see if the meds are working to keep the fluid out of his chest. But other than that he’s not going in the carrier for a while if we can help it.

        Hey if the carrier is traumatizing for the cat, and you have a car, I’ve had much better experience, just putting the cat in the car and carrying it into the vet wrapped in its favorite blanket.

          That’d be a great idea for anyone who has a cat they can pick up. Jin is so skittish that he’ll scratch and bite if you try to pick him up. He’s usually a really gentle boy, enjoys a cuddle, just had a traumatic kittenhood and gets freaked out by being picked up. I had him for 4 years before he’d let me touch him with both hands at the same time.
