For me, its soups/stews. Nothing i love more than slowly building the layers of flavor in a big ass dutch oven. Stirring my cauldron of delicious nourishing potion grounds me.
I like to make an orange rub rotisserie turkey for holidays. Always turns out perfect, and I glaze the skin at the end with sugar, such that it mixes with the fat on the skin and carmelizes. It’s pretty easy, so long as you make sure you get your rotating gear tightened up enough and check it once its up to temperature, as you don’t want your bird not turning!
Ya know, im not sure I’ve ever had orange with turkey, I bet its delicious! And a rotisserie would be a ton of fun to play with.
