I distinctly remember Trump trying to tell everyone this is fine and it’ll all just go away.

Later, when COVID-19 was epidemic in the community, he wanted to suppress the John Hopkins reports that informed their COVID-19 dashboard, because if Americans didn’t know how many were infected, then it wasn’t a problem.

So it’s no surprise the CDC and DHHS has stopped reporting on a lot of ailments in Trump 2.0.

No he didn’t. He originally put Pence in charge of the pandemic task Force. That lasted a week because he couldn’t stand not being the center of attention. His first press conference had him immediately follow Fauci and contradict and undermine everything his head of the CDC said, million 800,000 extra Americans.

Him later trying to claim credit for some things he actively worked against doesn’t count for shit

        “15 days”

It should have stayed a VP job. A leader delegates tasks to appropriate people. It’s funny how so many times those who are in power screw it up because they have to inject themselves into crap rather than surround themselves with experts and use their guidance to make decisions. Ego trip ruins what could have worked well.

Obviously I meant handing it to Fauci before it got too bad.

I remember seeing Fauci rolling his eyes while Trump spoke; that was what doomed any chance of sanity prevailing.

Your clip is from August 2021.
