I’ve actually tried the super stuffed fudge one and it had way more filling than the others I’ve had in my life. I admit I’m not quite old enough to have tried them during the 60s, so maybe they were different back then?

The trick is actually that you are paying the same price for the box of poptarts but each wrapper only contains one instead of 2, so you get half as many for the same price.

Literally never had a complaint about the amount of filling in a pop tart. Poptarts arent even about the filling. Its about the frosting. Filling is juat a lubricant to get the dry cardboard down your throat. That thing will probably lava burn your mouth if you put it in the toaster.

Go get a toaster strudel if you want to up your pop tart game.

These complaints seem more about human stupidity than capitalism.

There are a million dumb products and capitalists have been making a living off rubes since all of time.

The point should be capitalism is only oppressive when the price of a pop tart versus an overstuffed pop tart bothers you.
