Exactly. Jobs being an asshole meant he would have the foresight to see the Trump regime was statistically likely to be a boat of turds powered by old time racist bigotry that wouldn’t age well as a legacy.

Cook is one of those guys who sinks the ship with complacency, cowardice and is only waiting to cash out and retire with someone who doesn’t really respect him. A true bottom.

Tbf I liked how Cook gifted Trump a piece of garbage on a gold-plated slab of play-doh. Even a janitor at Apple would probably see how ugly and tasteless that thing is.

It’s obsequious to the extreme, but you’d be hard-pressed to argue that he didn’t understand exactly what makes Trump tick.

Of course Cook knew, Trump isn’t a complicated man. That’s why the gift looks even more like a joke at Trump’s expense, and a wink to everyone else. Cook could’ve gifted him a diamond-encrusted iPhone or some shit like that, but instead it was a custom useless piece of junk that seemed like a parody of both Apple’s aesthetic and Trump’s taste. Cook even awkwardly put the disc onto the base before reverently displaying it on the table. You can see in Trump’s face that even he might’ve questioned what the fuck was offered to him — or he was holding in a huge fart, no way to know.
