        But 4 and 6 are read edge-in, and the others are read middle-out. The mirroring is inconsistent.

            No, each pair looks the same whether you’re viewing them while standing inside or out on the street.

            To read the numbers so that they are correctly oriented, you’d read from the middle of a given pair outward for 1, 2, 3, and 5. But to read 4 and 6, you’d read from the edge inwards.

            Or (viewing from outside or inside) the second number in the pair is not reversed for 1, 2, 3, and 5. The first number is not reversed for 4 and 6.

                Damn, you’re right. I misread what you wrote. I thought you were asking if it would be different from the inside. But that’s clearly not what you wrote.

      Oh, very interesting point. Either way some of them are backwards which is a shame for a cool design idea like this
