The contentious process to rewrite social studies has stretched several years. Hundreds of people have testified at meetings that often extended overnight, well into the early morning.
It makes me wonder what Texas didn’t teach me during the 90s and 00s or what slant was on what they DID teach me.
Too bad there isn’t a National Council for the Social Studies that publishes national standards for states to use…oh wait there is.
