    The idea of the “undeserving” getting anything provided to them gets a lot of people very angry here. And then those same people probably:

    • Call themselves good Christians.
    • Are beneficiaries of some sort of public welfare whether they realize it or not.

      If they’re opposed to “socialism” as Fox News uses the term because some of the recipients aren’t “deserving”, they have started far from the words attributed to Jesus and God in the Christian Bible.

      “For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in.”

      (And if you think this quote is out of context, go read the chapter. Jesus is depicted literally telling his followers that to get into heaven they need to take care of the poor.)
