    Yeah, new to me as well. But having a Volvo myself, especially my electric one, I can see why these cars blast past you and it can feel like you’re not really driving that fast. The electric engines are so strong and so silent that you can’t tell how fast you are accelerating or cruising. You can’t hear the engine(s) working hard.

    But that’s what makes them bad drivers. They don’t care to follow the law. The law is there for safety, not for anyone’s benefit except the drivers’ and passengers’. It’s easy to enable cruise control, or check the speedometer every once in a while, to stay at a safe speed.
