Why would that be bait? I’m speaking as a multilingual person who has lived in multiple countries. Even if you never study a day of that language, you are quickly going to learn how to refer to common objects and use basic verbs.

Yeah, it is very important, no matter who the donee is, or why they are getting help. Who the fuck wants it known, that they need aid? Especially now society is incredibly cruel to those, struggling with misfortune. That might even prevent people, from seeking help, which then leads to all sorts of issues - and not only for that individual. And one of the other reasons obviously being, it gives the ones, like that moron pictured, possibility of finding them, with evil intent.
Because the parents who wrote the lists of birthday presents and school supplies are Spanish speakers and perhaps not really English speakers.
It was certainly a list of names. You can’t function in another country without being able to use basic vocabulary for everyday things.
