Well I imagined we were talking about an imaginary sci-fi technology. Obviously it would be more complicated and possibly at risk for some kind of manipulation in real life. If I were presented a teleporter where the only fault is a philosophical question about being a copy, then I don’t mind being a copy and my original self dying.
That feels like a very different statement than saying you don’t mind stepping into the teleporter knowing you will die while a copy continues from where you left off on the other side.

yeah I did realize that after thinking about it. Still I’m not sure. I guess it depends on what that experience is like.
