I’d chime in and add that trump and co actively tried to profit off of the pandemic, by confiscating PPE from states and then selling it back to their hospitals at a markup. They also wanted to let covid run rampant because they believed it would affect higher density blue states worse than the lower density red states.

In Good faith I will respond that I do remember Trump disbanding the Pandemic reaponse team in… 2017/18? It was early on and a sign of things to come in regards to his willingness to just undo anything Obama had credit for.
