Republicans and Democrats are dead even on the generic ballot, according to the Harvard Harris poll. This is horrible news for Democrats.

FYI this post’s “londontimes.live” is a Russian misinformation site:

The narrative was published by londontimes.live, a site designed to resemble a Western publication and according to DFRLab was disseminated by Russian and non-Russian pro-Kremlin actors. The source of the story was found to be the Russian Foundation to Battle Injustice, a group founded in 2021 with the support of Yevgeny Prigozhin and widely viewed as a Kremlin-aligned disinformation front.

If it’s true, it shows just how utterly mentally unfit Americans are.

Then again, even 1% voting for Trump’s band of merry Nazis would be a concerning statistic for this country…

I sent my vote off, even if I’m less than thrilled with my options. Now, if it makes it to the proper place in time and is actually counted is another story. I sent it more than a month ahead but gestures broadly. I also vote in an extremely republican and heavily-gerrymandered district. Still, I do it anyway

Here’s a news flash for all the progressives who feel that BoTH siDes ARe thE SAme and voting won’t help.

It doesn’t cost you anything to vote. Nothing. No one is asking you to actually go out and drive people to the polls, or put up signs, or listen to a speech. All you have to do is spend a few minutes on a website and then mail an envelope.

If they are anything like the ones I know, they are proud of sitting out (or voting for bullshit like Stein), because they feel they are morally superior to bOtHsIdEs.

In fact, some of them spend a lot of time and energy on convincing others to sit out, too. So it’s not really an effort thing for them, it’s more like a lot of them refuse the accept reality.
